I am buying escan Total security 3 years amazon.in global key. 8 dolar . I want to keep my personal data. Kaspersky protects better but takes everything.AV Comparatives should investigate data collection again and make a new table. Latest one is really outdated, back from 2014.

escan ' s interface has not changed for years. It's a bit of a lazy firm . I hope the user agreement hasn't changed either.
Why does privacy mean less protection? If you are choosing an AV company A over AV Company B because of privacy concerns or their data collection policy,
would you rather have company A who offers better protection from Malware or Ransomware protecting your personal data.
or
Company B who according to you offers less protection so the chances of being infected by malware or spyware that can
potentiality steal all your personal data or even worse?

There is always a balance between the two you can not have 100% of both. Why does privacy mean less protection?

How is the collected data is processed? And for how long does the company store the collected data? And why the collected data are linked to the user (a special ID or personal info such as email address)?More like, why does telemetry data mean privacy data.
I see all these as attempts to track users and to profile users. How is the collected data is processed? And for how long does the company store the collected data? And why the collected data are linked to the user (a special ID or personal info such as email address)?
You can look through the privacy policy of each and every AV and they'll be stated thereHow is the collected data is processed? And for how long does the company store the collected data? And why the collected data are linked to the user (a special ID or personal info such as email address)?
Privacy policies which I cannot comprehend. Anyway, I believe that AV companies are good at hiding what they collect about their users. You can look through the privacy policy of each and every AV and they'll be stated there
