Avast seems to only improve on the performance and detection maybe I will try moving to avast one day if the trend continues

I recommend choosing AVG instead of Avast, at least it's not full of bloatware.

It should be noted that the test was done in this machine,
I think most regular MT user's PC is more powerful than this. So, the AVs with good results here are likely to perform even better on your PC

I remember when a friend of mine bought a Core 2 Duo PC and was flexing to us how fast his PC was. We only had Pentium 4 back then. A few months later my brother also bought Core 2 Duo with an even higher CPU frequency and flexed back to my friend. Lol. Good memories.One of my two PCs is running core 2 duo

Trend Micro seems lighter to me than shown in this test relative to a few others I am familiar with (fwiw).

Wow Mcafee stays at nr 1 , past week i wanted to try mcafee , but the installer doesn't respond only prompt with uac and than nothing happens , so not possible to install ? . . .

As always, the performance impact of antiviruses often varies greatly from one PC to the next, so the performance results may very well be different for you.
