Avira 100 percent, i dont really think so............

Good result for Kaspersky, Avast is improving as well, but NO AV can give you 100 percent protection
Yes correct, but detection test only. Not results for all areas of attack. It might just be a real world "detection" test came out 100%. Zero day would light up like a christmas tree.

It's probably legit test there because McAfee and Lavasoft are lower on the list... as they do in MT reviews.

I wouldn't exactly call Kaspersky light but I used it's trial once while I was traveling in China and I the load is quite manageable. The only points of slow down that I can remember would be when you plug in a flash drive and it goes to auto scan it
I think that is in every Antivirus if its working right... and I used a tweak to speed up icons so I don't need to wait long for USB exe files. :)

That's simple.
One company paid more money.
One way to know for sure is to test the exact same engines on two different AV's, with the same samples tossed their way.

However don't these results change up and down daily anyway... who knows for sure if its paid nonsense or real testing.

Detection-only test.

Unknowledgeable user sees chart, installs Avira, surfs, then we all know what happens next....
Yep, I used to be that guy... I installed Avira two years ago, because I read it was 100% detection. I figured it was as perfect as you can find. Avira has great detection, but pop goes the ransomware.

Which can and will happen with every classic AV on the market.

Nothings 100% thats right.

I have learned that tweaking settings on Avast, Comodo, or Qihoo can cover bases better then Aviras superb detection.

Listening to experts at MT's offers a better result then the AV tests hehe.

Why doesn't the test include more alternatives like Comodo,GDATA,Dr. Web,Norton and Webroot?
Norton from Symantec itself withdraw everything to participate in AV-Comparatives as announce a year or 2 years ago probably, meanwhile others well probably not yet enough budget to join or voluntered not include on a specific test,

Norton withdrew from AV-Comparatives because of the file detection test. They would have loved to be tested in the real-word protection test and probably other categories as well, but AV-Comparatives doesn't allow the participants to cherry pick among the offered tests. This attitude actually has a considerable negative impact on their funding, so it deserves some respect. Maybe those people, who constantly post this stupid money gif, should keep this in mind.
