Avast acquires Piriform (CCleaner)

I was just browsing through Avast site and saw this

Our existing performance optimization products, Avast Cleanup and AVG TuneUp, will remain available."

Wow, I didn't saw that coming at all.
I don't see why Avast should buy Piriform anyway, an antivirus company should focus on detection and not on those pc optimising stuff those companies add in their premium versions. It's a good cleaning tool, so stay away from it Avast and leave it as it is now please. We don't need more bloat in your program, because the programs Piriform makes have nothing to do with adding extra protection.
Looks like Avast has too much money, first Avg, now Piriform...

I use both Avast and CCleaner, but to be honest, I don't know what to make of this news.

Avast will likely to incorporate CCleaner into its Premier product as cleaning/optimization feature which it's lacking

thankfully Privazer exist so this doesn't really affect me too much.
CCleaner bundled with Avast/AVG free in a few months, mark my word.

I'm a user of Avast and Ccleaner but i think this will be the end of Ccleaner as we know it.

Like mentioned above Avast will put all there adverts in and instead of google browser it will be Avast Safezone browser

avast owns AVG, and AVG owns TuneUp Software, I don't see the point
