Advice Request Best choice for default audio player?

Unless you have over 2.1k media files it will crash every 30 secs.

No problems with WMP crashing, have over 3,000 files .MP3 files.

MusicBee obviously. It's the best free music manager, that works right out of the box. It'll give any shareware music manager a run for it's money.

Skip VLC, it's not a great music manager as such, just a music player and more of a video player. Windows Media Player is a meagre music manager. WinAMP has stopped it's development, with 5.6 as the last major version.

Foobar2000 is great if you love customizations.

I use potplayer for playing both video and audio files , and do not want anything else. it is my favorite media player ever! plus it has a nice range of setting for audio enhancements!

for me AIMP has the clearest sound quality. However the UI is horrible IMO

WMP, iTunes, foobar, mediamonkey for me have almost the exact same quality, can't differentiate

AIMP and dfx audio enhancer. Thats my main audio equipment. The "dfx audio enhancer" is able to increase
the sound quality of several audio sources: browser( e.g. youtube), any audio/video players installed on your system, skype, RAIDO/TV-card, etc, etc,. So basically it's not an audio player....
Also installed on my system: JET audio VX plus (paid version), foobar, media Monkey gold (paid verson).
