Best free media player

Hi all, I'm wondering what would be the best free media player. I've tried out VLC player quite few times, but I've noticed when using it, most of the time the screen would go a pixelated and grey.

I personally use GOM Player, and I'm very pleased with it has everything you need.

I use VLC but I hear that Daum potplayer is decent.

VLC is on 2.1.4 version. This version did not release.
Check and download here : http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc/2.1.4/win64/
maybe your issue is fixed in it.

VLC has a far less good visual quality while playing video than KCP, you should give it a try!
