I switched to this Photo Viewer as my default when @Sunshine-boy shared it here. It is indeed beautiful like Picasa and fast like IrfanView.

If Windows 11 Pro, it's better to use Group Policy features like App Privacy "Let Windows apps make use of Text and image generation features of Windows," App Package Deployment, Windows AI, Paint, etc. You may also download Windows 25H2 ADMX templates for extended features.
