Would not trust a random github script/program. Just sayin!
I do not have as much love for Microsoft as I did in the past, but what that program removes looks too dangerous. Too much chance for a whole truckload of problems, in my opinion.

I got bit by this, didn't run it but ran it through VirusTotal and deemed malicious by Kaspersky.
