App Review ChineseRarypt ransomware VS Kaspersky and Bitdefender

It is advised to take all reviews with a grain of salt. In extreme cases some reviews use dramatization for entertainment purposes.

And once again, possible malware just out of the blue appears on the system. Users should not make a decision between which AV software to buy/use based on these younoob tests, they are innacurate source of how different security products works.

This is the best point of this thread. The fact that this piece of software has little to no chance of ever arriving on a users system shouldn't be neglected to be mentioned. Even some basic web filtration would stop it, Gryphon, an extension, any suites web filtration/scanning, download insight/karma technologies, etc.

Anyone knows whether the latest version of Bitdefender, Kaspersky, Avast etc protects against it? BD, Kaspersky, Avast etc use behavior detection which would not apply with this ransomware. Even if they use signature for detection what about similar ransomware which don't encrypt?
