CIS 2025 is now LIVE!

COMODO Internet Security 2025 Premium

Here are another 2 links for you

Comodo's website looks like it's some kind of scam. I legit thought they don't exist anymore.

Some pages, still show 2022 as product version. Same page has "free-internet-security.php" in the URL even though it isn't free anymore.

Antivirus page has multiple pages that advertise the same product as best for all.

Some pages still show the old interface.

There's literally a page just for comparison of other companies like those fake product review sites. -> Best Free Antivirus Program 2024 | Top Free Antivirus Software

I'm speechless that a security company with reputable products can have THAT unorganized and outdated website.

It's not been right for some time now though the early release post states:

"we will modify the pages later on to reflect all the amazing new stuff we have in the new version. We were too excited to share it with you and didn’t want to wait on web design guys"

Hopefully it'll get revamped completely. 🤞

Who needs web design guys when your webpage can have something simple like this, except in a really big font.:LOL:
"Lots of amazing new stuff in CIS 2025"

The current Comodo' version announced as “2025” is nothing more than the old Beta
Comodo is one perpetual beta, not sure by now how it hasn’t been understood by some.
Comodo was never a great company and never had great products. For years, Comodo only had a single tool (sandbox/containment)
Comodo had quite a few products and tools which due to lack of usage (because they were so amazing) got discontinued. At the moment Comodo keeps offering what they’ve always offered. Mediocre security solution that is.
There have been hundreds of security software over past decades, all promising the best "ultimate solution". But none of these software products ever dared to use a simple broken sandbox/containment as an "ultimate solution".
Sandboxing and default deny has been used by many under different shapes and forms and continues to be used, but is in no way the be-all end-all. Comodo does include cloud-based analysis and human analysis as well, but how much can these be trusted is another question.
The Comodo' website was always a disaster
A website is the face of the company, the Comodo website rightly represents the company.
Any conclusion of any expert is always published with the identification of the expert
When people claim to be experts and then go around manipulating users’ opinions by publishing unrealistic tests and claiming that a forgotten already solution, jam packed with bugs and holes, developed as a hobby project in someone’s bedrooms is the most powerful, it becomes evident how much they are experts.
The participants here at MalwareTips are subjective opinion holders, they are not experts
That’s the participants of any community and that’s why people should do their due diligence, research and not just blindly trust everything read and seen.

"Surviving at any cost?" That is probably the most bizarre statement since the CEO is a billionaire.
The CEO might be a trillionaire as well, that’s got very little to do with the fact that the absolute and bare minimum has been invested into the Comodo brand. Not just now, that’s been the case for many years. Be it in R&D, marketing or anything else.

No matter what’s said and displayed in videos, the fact that the Comodo brand is dead, won’t change.
Others are way better.

It is naive to believe that a company can invest peanuts and breadcrumbs, and this way produce products that beat multi-billion dollar investments.
Just saying.

Hasn't CIS been sold to another company with another CEO at the top?
What's Melih's position and role in this regard?

Well, all the non-expert naysayers in this and another thread have convinced me to try the new Comodo Firewall.
When you have a deep understanding of a product and consider yourself an expert in it, it's natural for others to have differing opinions or even dismiss your knowledge and work. Engaging in a discussion can help clarify perspectives, but it often only takes 4-5 exchanges to determine if it's worth continuing the conversation or if it has turned into an argument.

He sold 50% interest in Comodo CA in 2017.

He is an owner and\or directs:
  • MAVeCap private equity group
  • The Comodo Group, Inc
  • Comodo CA Limited
  • Comodo Security Solutions, Inc
  • Comodo Communication, Inc
  • Sectigo
  • ITarian
  • Ezlo
  • Vera
  • nuMSP
Ernst & Young and other entities have given Melih awards for the growth of his companies and his efforts on behalf of home users. In other words, he has received industry recognition and awards for giving away CIS\CFW for free while still growing his companies at a face pace.

Best Practice with a major build is to uninstall the old and start fresh, remembering that with C the simplest is best.

For any interested there will be a Firewall Setup with Commentary video in a few days..

I'm wondering whether it will be a firewall setup or a custom ruleset. I've configured the firewall to block incoming connections, set the networks to public zone, and allowed alerts. The reason I allow firewall alerts is that I've set the containment to block the unrecognized files.
