Advice Request Clean Master for PC

Hi, I have noticed some people have lost their respect with CCleaner since Avast bought piriform so I'm looking for an alternative and noticed some people recommend "clean master for pc" has anyone used this or do you have any recommendations.

if you don't trust ccleaner, you shouldn't trust clean master because it's privacy policy is a joke. They collect a lot more than ccleaner
clean master = cheetah mobile

if you like ccleaner, use ccleaner 5.32, the version before they are bought and before being hacked
it's perfectly fine and I find no issue or no functional loss compared to the new versions

if you are afraid, you can block ccleaner64.exe using your firewall

alternatives: wise disk cleaner, privazer
however, ccleaner has its own advantages and can't be replaced effectively

Use CCleaner portable version. Block connection in firewall. Ccleaner is a saint compared to anything by Cheetah mobile.

One of the worst things is to install it. Instead you might install Kerish, Ashampoo WinOptimizer, or wisecleaner. Or as @Evjl's Rain suggested above.

Wise Disk Cleaner failed to remove junks from Google Chrome and Edge browser. It doesn't remove any junk at all when I run it on my PC.

ccleaner is free. Kerish is paid on a yearly basis. Ashampoo is a one-time fee but they regularly make giveaways.

Bleachbit, can be used with ccenhancer too. Thats the similarst one what u can get when u want something similar to ccleaner.

Was your PC switched on?

If you say Wise Disk Cleaner doesn't work, maybe some other programs could have interfered it's process to clean files.

Try running as Admin too.

I checked everything and clicked run, scan, and clean. Wise Disk Cleaner said my browsers cache and data is empty, but the fact is I can still see my Google Chrome history.

CCleaner portable is quite good, without the annoying (IMO) real time module.
BTW the incident is now resolved and the latest versions are clean.

I'm a faithful user of Wise Cleaner 365 and I love it! It is pretty much a complete free solution

I use it myself. It was not updated for a few years, after being released, but they finally released a new version last year.

It does a very good job of cleaning junk files. The PC Boost feature, disables a lot of unwanted startup items, but I do add some items to the ignore list, rather than letting it remove everything it wants to. The free version has advertising for the paid Pro version (but you can often get this as a giveaway). The paid version includes a driver updater, Clean Master Driver Booster, which is the same as Wise Driver Care

Clean Master works well, but I would recommend using Wise Disk Cleaner instead of this, as aside from privacy concerns, it has a much better user interface.
