Another day, another account pro-registered solely for the purpose to support almighty Comodo, working overtime to prove how great it is, how they never had a problem and how everyone, the whole world should deploy Comodo, because it’s so amazing (and this is the reason why no more than 5 people are using it).

those few supporters who are defined as fanboys
Oh my Lord, I wonder how this’s happened. This is atrocious!!!

I think that the only diagnosis can be made is that of a severe neurological problem.....
It seems like you very anxiously defend the said software. That’s an indication of a problem by itself.

Finally, if a software needs and causes this whole charade, sorry, but it simply isn’t that good.

Being a Christian I think I have to say the truth to fellow researchers in IT,hence I dont f care if I have to confront a hundred people ,who, for various reasons ranging from being annoyed, not knowing what else to do or for the already mentioned neuroproblems fix their attention on a single OBSESSIVE matter.
Mad Max Comodo (Ford Falcon V8,5000cc) will prevail over professional (biked) haters anyway.

No one is saying that. They are only saying "I have never experienced the reported bugs."

No one here has ever said that "the entire world should use Comodo."

You can if you want, being aware that in the case of some software, Comodo Firewall being one, where less is best. The less you screw with it, the better it performs.

I know it's difficult for some people to admit that the problem isn't the software as much as the user, but such is the case.

I mentioned Portmaster Firewall in another thread. From all I've read, it seems pretty solid, combined with maybe Win Defender.

Hi Chuck,

I saw your post in that thread, but I couldn't reply there because it was closed for further comments. I did install it on Linux MX-23, even with the required dependencies, but the firewall service would not launch, I can't remember the error message, but I had no success trying to get it to work. Thanks for mentioning it though. Maybe a future release will work, and maybe I could try it on Windows.

I'll admit, I've never used it but have watched a few reviews on YouTube including how to set it up. That's where it was mentioned that default was enough in most cases. That's the kind of software I like because I don't particularly like playing with programs. I want them to install and work. Period.

If Comodo implodes on me, I will probably try it on this laptop, or perhaps one of the old ones I have first just to get the feel of it, then put it on this one.

Am I not allowed to touch it? Is it too fragile?

Please allow me to remind the readers that Comodo is a Holy Divinity, therefore, to work it needs the user's deep faith and beliefs. That's why Comodo only works for its fanatics, because only fanatics with infinite devotion (plus irresponsibility & immorality) can make Comodo work for them.

Last but not least, Comodo settings are sacred, and as determined in the Necromancer book, its settings must not be touched... it is a terrible blasphemous sacrilege! But for a complete cybernetic protection it is recommended and acceptable to sacrifice a chicken at the altar of the cult.

I absolutely don't screw with it. As an expert user I like to configure it to my own liking. It's the software which screws up my system not the user in this case.

Then the answer is pig simple. For those of you who don't like it, or have trouble with it, or consider it some sacrilegious piece of software.............Don't use it. I simply don't understand people becoming so upset to the point of irrationality because they dislike a software so much that they will harangue, try to insult, embarrass or shame others into following their mantra, and then spamming a thread because a handful of users of that software are being disobedient by using it.
