No, K7 use their own technology and has always been light. It's even lighter than F-Secure on my system. With K7, it feels like there's no AV installed on my system.

Yes, yes and thrice yes, I totally agree.

I find K7 lighter than helium which might explain my being irked somewhat when F-Secure pipped it to the post.

Kudos to McMcbrad for all the testing and insights.
