I am aware of these extensions, but I want a filter to add to my ad blocker. Since I have a YouTube extension (RYS — Remove YouTube Suggestions), I prefer not to use more than one. I have also emailed the RYS developer with my feedback.

I could be wrong, but I don't think it's possible to do this with a uBO filter. At best you can block all thumbnails in your feed.

The YouTube extension I have offers the choice to block or blur thumbnails. I reached out to the developer, requesting a replace thumbnail feature.

RYS — Remove YouTube Suggestions worked well for me. I'm testing UnTrap for YouTube. It has many tweaks, a neat GUI, and overall works well. It also offers a paid "Plus" plan, which includes cloud syncing, daily codebase updates, and unlimited AI summaries for videos of any length and language. I have noticed no ads, just "Want Even More" info for the plus plan on the interface.

The developer has another extension, SocialFocus, which hides distractions on social media.
