Hi @BryanB,

Thank you for the feedback.

What I would like to see next is to eliminate the splash screen

Do you mean splash screen which may appear sometimes for a few seconds just after launch?

also when installing programs a learning mode would come in handy.

I´ll see if I can add your suggested feature.

Really appreciate the monthly statistics.

It is great to see increase in program usage. :)

Regards,
Kardo

Thanks Kardo,

Yes, when the desktop first appears at boot. The splash screen always appears on my pc. I don't mind a splash screen if its dazzling like eset for example.

Thanks for considering my suggestions and I'm happy to see the increase in usage too, this approach to security is the future for security so I'm counting on you and maybe a lot of others are also. No pressure.

Hello Kardo,

18 is running very well for me, only 1 minor thing that I didn't notice before, occasionaly when the program detects something good or bad the GUI pops up for usually a couple seconds but sometimes longer. Nothing I can't live with but just to let you know.

Also can a person use CS on its own or would you recommend using another security program along side it.

Appreciate your effort as always.

Hi @BryanB,

Thank you for the feedback. :)

Under popups do you mean bottom right corner notification?

Also can a person use CS on its own or would you recommend using another security program along side it.

I personally recommend to use it with other security solutions.

Kardo

Hey Kardo,

Sorry, not very clear their, it's the full program interface that's appearing.

As to the reply, using CS with another software, yes, which one would you use.

Thanks again.

Hi @BryanB,

Interesting. Please send your Settings.xml file via PM. Settings file is located in AppData directory.

I am using Crystal Security with Windows Defender. :)

Good morning Kardo,

Give me a day for this, been running another program by itself to check for errors. I'll add CS to this and get back with you. :coffee:

Great app called Crystal Security, a new protection layer, I see many excited people putting faith, but It's a little early to say it's good.
help me to build to decide a trust configuration in windows 10.
1 - Eset Smart+MBAE+ZAL+Heimdal
2 - Emsisoft+Hmpa+Crystal+Heimdal
3 - Wind Def+Voodoshield+Reason+Heimdal

Too much confusion for me, with these configurations you will have too many false positives and redundant actions.
For me, the best thing is to make it easy. For example:
  • The antivirus (free or paid) that you want
  • Crystal Security (or Voodooshield or NVT ERP)
Optional:
  • Add an antimalware (Core, Zemana, Malwarebytes)
  • Add a third-party firewall (Comodo or ZoneAlarm)
Adding too many layers of security does not benefit your defense or your performance ;)

Kind regards
