It could only interfere in the cases where Microsoft has forgotten to sign them (which every now and then does happen). But it’s highly likely that something else went wrong, for example the update installation script may have crashed due to a bug.sidenote on DeepInstinct, I could not get win10 Patch Tuesday update kb5062554 to install even DL of kb file from MS and manual install failed with 0x80070005. DI was the only app running so I went into its deep portal and disabled it, and kb5062554. Anyone else run into this. My past experience, DI does not interfere with windows updates.
I went thru stuff with chatGPT for several hours... sfc clean, update trouble shooter found no problems. etc, must have been DI but it portal was not showing any blocks or I missed it, I mostly do not muck around in there. It could only interfere in the cases where Microsoft has forgotten to sign them (which every now and then does happen). If the error is in the update installation script, ChatGPT as well as these generic troubleshooting steps like sfc/scannow, DISM restore health and so on, won’t help.I went thru stuff with chatGPT for several hours... sfc clean, update trouble shooter found no problems. etc, must have been DI but it portal was not showing any blocks or I missed it, I mostly do not muck around in there.![]()
yes if I was not clear (__it happens) that update did install aok when DI was disabled. I am not sure what was different with this MS update that it ran into DI protection, first time that has happened iirc. After the install, I re-enabled DI and all is good. DI config, iirc @Kongo (& others) helped during the DI install months ago, and rarely have any issues. The tech at vendor also can access my portal and the config seems good, not too tight, as Goldilocks might say "just right" (don't recall if she was eaten by the papa bear)If the error is in the update installation script, ChatGPT as well as these generic troubleshooting steps like sfc/scannow, DISM restore health and so on, won’t help.
Did the update install in the end? DeepInstinct depending on its configuration can not only interfere with updates, but it can display 10 alerts as soon as you open a folder. It all depends on the policies.
thanks! I just checked and I have the same version, which auto-updated in the background.version 5.2.0000.2 has been released

1. It's just with any other endpoint protection software. You need to find a good, reliable reseller if you are a home costumer.Hi all
