3 hours of installation on a new PC with the mini Ubuntu iso. Why doesn't a distribution support the Zfs filesystem? Anyway, I recommend the file system to everyone. One click snapshots, rollbacks and speed is given. Defragmenting is history with this file system.
Also installed: Latest Ubuntu with the Pantheon Desktop from Elementary OS. 16.04 LTS (versions that you need to update every two years; non LTS versions you need to update earlier) for dekstops is outdated and poorly supplied with security updates. That's why I do not recommend Elementary OS and Linux Mint.
P.S. 8 (4 cores, 8 threats) cores are extremely noticeable on Linux.
P.S. You need to install Ubuntu with the expert install in the mini iso if you want Zfs..
