Yes got hit(scammed) by fake virus , Norton then was crap ,McAfee also Computer Associates (av) came with a computer I bought from PC Richards was for me the worst ever, the shinning stars were Malwarebytes and Emsisoft which were in competition then

I began using computers, 25 years ago, as a novice. Through painful experiences, a lot of formats, I began to ask questions and read a lot about computers and security. I feel more competent now, and able to solve technical problems for myself and others. But I'm not an expert because I don't have the tacit knowledge , intuition and experience required to reach that level of expertise.
