Installed 9926 in VB.Had to do some updates before installation.Download and installation went fine via Windows Update.
The OS looks good. Security suites(have tested a few) and programs I have installed work fine without bugs or conflict.
Taskbar has big search bar which I dont care for however it is integrated with Cortana.
Start menu has changed also. Not sure if I care for this change.
However I installed 9926 late last night and havent really had a chance to really dig into it
does it support office 2013

What security suites did you already test and which ones are already compatible with windows 10? Thanks

With 9926 I have used Emsisoft Anti-Malware and Emsisoft Internet Security with no issues. I have also used Qihoo 360 Total Security, they have a Windows 10 Technical Preview version which seems to work well also albeit only a half of a day of running so far.

I am interested and when I'm up to it will install on a vacant partition where I tested BD 2015. To those of you guys who are testing it now, what are the security applications that you are using with Windows 10 tech Preview...? (Aside from the mentioned Emsisoft IS and EAM)

Anyone tested Avira Free or Avast Free with it?

Saw this one on another site,

Windows 10 build 10009 - a brand new build

Leaked screenshots of Windows 10 build 10009 have revealed new icons and several interface tweaks, which could be proof that Redmond is much more focused on improving the UI these days.

For all of you who are using this OS as primary did you read this?

Privacy Statements for Windows Technical Preview
Wow, thank you for an informative thread, and thank you especially for this privacy warning. I understand that Win10 will be free for most users, and that should trigger cautions. MS is not known to be a charity, and these privacy intrusions are very troubling. If something is not done soon on the privacy front, there will be no going back. On maybe we've already lost the battle.

I think Win7 will be recorded as the high point of OS design. OSes will continue to become more powerful and to do more things, but in terms of simplicity and user control, as well as getting the job done, I don't think it gets better. MS seems to be increasingly dumbing down the interface even as the fundamentals get more removed from user control.

It may well be time for many businesses to give Linux a hard look. I have a Mint (Mate') VM here that is excellent classic OS design. In addition to its own progs, it can run virtually any Windows prog through Wine. WPS Office is an excellent suite for most users. And it's all free, and as far as I know, it doesn't have any of the privacy concerns that you now get with MS. It only lags somewhat in current driver sophistication, but that is not a show-stopper.

Is this .img same thing like .iso?

.img should do the same thing as .iso. Apparently you are able to rename .img to .iso if the .img file is uncompressed. Looking at the size of this file, it probably is uncompressed in which you should be able to remain it to a .iso. .img can still be burned and mounted to virtual drives. I've never wanted to burn an .img to a disc, I only know it works on USB.

Note: Combo of personal knowledge and the internet. Source: http://www.ehow.com/info_8075301_differences-between-iso-img-files.html

That's the thing here with me now..my internet is bad and the download is really on-off. Now it's normal here that my ISP cuts us off intentionally especially when downloading large files. I have to get out and go someplace where I can pay and download large files. Can't really do t at home now. Can't upgrade my plan either. So I am in a fix ;) But thanks for the help :)
