Battle Emsisoft Anti-Malware or Norton Internet Security 2017

My EAM license expired in 1 month and now i'm looking for an alternative.
My isp offers me norton for free and now i am thinking about to renew my eam license or take the free norton license.

How do you see this, how strong is norton in comparison?

Thanks, decided to disable Emsisoft because it was using more memory than NIS (at least according to my taskmanager)...

Emsisoft using "more memory" should be good. Unless you feel slowdown or you have limited RAM, it's recommended that you let Emsisoft use more RAM.

If you want to try emsisoft again, i recommend to enable memory optimization for emsisoft. What i can see when enable this, emsisoft will use less than 100 mb and sometimes only use around 10-25 mb of ram.

Hey, If I could choose only between the two, I would pick Norton, but I do not have to, and neither do you, I am a Bitdefender customer, I think you should pick Bitdefender for obvious reasons, but there is another opportunity: Kaspersky, it is almost as good as Bitdefender.
