I remember importing the Energized Ultimate list into uBlock Origin just for fun. It caused the extension to hang when navigating the extension menu.
The Ultimate list is overkill but their smaller lists might be useful.

I use Energized Blu and Regional on my NextDNS along few other sources and it doesn't break any site for me. The main guy is my compatriot and I've talked to him a few times. He himself uses the Blu filter in Adguard Home.

It's not included in default NextDNS lists (and they already use a lot!):
nextdns/metadata & nextdns/metadata

I use the Energized list's too in the past but get false positives so i guess that's the reason why it's not included in NextDNS.
But everyone use own setup, so

Yes, default lists should always include the safest, non page breaking filters so it makes sense.

It's not dead. It still receives update every day but they're not solving open issues for a long time now. I myself even have one open issue there. I'll see if I can contact him.

Yes, you're right. Blu is usually safe but keep an eye on the block log in case something safe gets blocked by it.

You just reminded of a Saudi Arabian brand that entered our country around 10 years ago. The name translates to something so awkward (private body part) that they were forced to take their business out of our country after a week
