Pretty sure it is going roll back to version 13 if you switch back to regular channel. So don't if you want to stay on 14.

Thank you, I wanted to try and then switched back to the regular channel and noticed its updating large files, so I canceled the update.
After version 14 officially released very soon in the next days, I can update the mode to the regular channel?

According to Marcos, it won't switch back Anyway, you can stay at pre-release channel if you face no bug. Then when it's officially released you may switch back to the release channel once again.

It's ok to turn it off till they fix it. You'll still be protected.
