That was a good read @BryanB (it was in plain English which for once i could understand) thanks.
+1I get why governments don't want to trust a foreign security product. But the individual shouldn't really be concerned about the national affiliation of their AV. (Unless they store NSA malware on their PC).
*Besides if you REALLY go down the privacy rabbit hole, no anti virus is acceptable anyways.
Why wouldn't government's make their "own" custom build security software?
They Spend billions and billions on making fighter jet's... their cash stack is almost infinite so why not?
