Disgusted.

[YuanJiawj]

with all due respect, this new logo looks like it was made by someone "amateur".
A brand defines its direction, ideas and what they are through a logo, this looks too simple with a "very" simplistic typeface.

[FireHammer]

Real Nice, Ha-Ha.

[vaccineboy]

I'm neutral and am quite surprised by the very negative feedback. But then I'm not an artistic person.

[Eggnog]

Well, that's exciting ...

[dinosaur07]

It looks nice IMO. But as you all know "de gustibus non disputandum est".

A New Era for ExpressVPN: New Features and a New Look

[HarborFront]

I'm using ExpressVPN. It has great speed, great features and works in China

However, it still don't have Double-Hop VPN feature. That's a BIG CON.

For what purpose is Double-Hop used?

Multi-hop changes your IP address multi times to improve your privacy. Like TOR changes your IP address 3 times

[amirr]

I don't think it's a weakness for ExpressVPN not to have it. Even if they implemented it, I wouldn't use it. I have no reasons to do that. I would turn it off.
I'm not too fond of extra unnecessary features and bloatware.
Keeping things simple is a great approach, IMHO.
Maybe ExpressVPN implements it in the future, but I won't use it. It should be optional.
NordVPN and Surfshark both have it, and if someone really wants to use Multihop, they can use Nord or Surfshark.

What do you think?

The site has had a makeover using some sort of Gothic font, I thought I had stumbled onto some sort of fake site to start with

I watched this new video yesterday and in it, he said it's not a good idea to use multi-hop.

Surfshark VPN/NordVPN/Perfect Privacy and a few others offer multi-hop VPN feature. If hopping through servers from the same provider then it's not as effective as hopping through different providers. Read the below

From the SAME VPN provider

VPN1 => VPN2 => VPN3

Better protection from DIFFERENT VPN providers e.g

VPN1 (ExpressVPN in router) => VPN2 (VyprVPN in your PC/laptop) => VPN3 (Surfshark VPN in your VM)

This setup is like TOR going through 3 DIFFERENT nodes (servers/relays) hosted by DIFFERENT people

7 Best Multi-Hop and Double VPNs in 2026 (Max Privacy)

As the threats from advanced tracking and global surveillance continue to grow, one solution is to use multi-hop VPN services.
