F-Secure 25.X blocking Mullvad Browser again; auto-quarantine as Drop.Win64.MemMapSelf.34764.

Don't panic. Don't drop F-Secure because you are butthurt about a false positive. Just create an allow exception in F-Secure for Mullvad Browser. Problem solved, but eggs still cost $25 USD per dozen in Manhattan, NY USA.

@IceMan7 as well, it looks like Tor is now being flagged by F-Secure. Do you think them leaning on the Avira engine as far as replacing Deep Guard with Behavior Detection is causing this, the FP's? Does the Avira AV have these type of FP's? I'm assuming the member is on a v25.X

I have never seen a detection name like "Drop.Win64.MemMapSelf.34764" in older Avira and I have almost zero knowledge about Bullguard's Sentry behavior blocker which is now part of Avira/F-Secure. So, your guess is probably correct that it is due to the Behavior Detection feature.

I've finished playing with Fsecure. I'm sorry, but that's life. :(
I'm finishing testing Eset now. I'm mega happy with how it works.
For a change, I'll check out Bitdefender. And later in October, when my Fsecure license ends, I'll hunt for a good price for Eset or BD (I'll decide which solution in May, when I finish 30 days with BD)

My F-Secure updated to 25 version yesterday, it takes up more resources and I will get rid of it soon. F-secure are updating everyone to new version very fast, usually it took one month before my installation was auto- updated.

I personally cannot confirm that, @Virtuoso.
Of course, you can see in the Task Manager that Avira is the basis here. (Sentry SDK runs in the background). You may or may not like it, but I can personally notice it especially in terms of performance and low consumption.
