"WindowsSpyBlock" blocks me Windows Update or not ?

Try to disable that Zone and check.

Also you can check a blocking reason in the Blocked connections window.

I seem to have blocked this service though...

How I have to do to blocks this Windows service ?
Because... It is not normal...

You can find a "DNSCache" program entry in the Programs window and double check its settings/rules.

I ask because it seems you said above that it wasn't blocked...

So I guess it's better to block it.

I seem to have made this service traceable in the past...

It's up to you, which programs to allow or block.

I'm blocking all Windows services and programs, except:
- `DNSCache` service (with "Block Internet", because it works via router and LAN is not filtered)
- `System` (with "Block Internet")
- `BITS`, `DOSvc`, `WuauServ` services for Windows Update, when needed (grouped into App Group)

I just wish whatsapp worked. Because right now it seems to be blocked (the connection)...

But I've always authorized it.

Even when NextDNS is disabled or Fort Firewall...

It must be coming from somewhere else...


I'm going to reinstall the app or reset, whatever!

- Remove all WhatsApp Program entries
- Clear the Blocked connections
- try to use WhatsApp
- show the Blocked connections with the Reason

Your screenshot of Blocked connections is from 09/11/2024 - very old. Show us an actual entries by 1-st clearing all of them.

so Fort has nothing to do with the problem.

@sypqys BTW, you can use Wildcard path for WhatsApp. E.g. "C:\Program Files\WinStrore\*\WhatsApp.exe".
