Here in Brazil the most used are Avast and Avg free, and honestly do not think the two are good because I got to use both and did not like.
The kaspersky would make a big deal bringing the free version for Brazil, it quickly dominate the market here, here ah many users of their paid versions, and certainly if it launched its free version in Portuguese would win quickly Avast and AVG free.
I hope they launch Kaspersky free to Brazil :D

It's like Santa Claus - you won't get it, unless you keep asking for it.

Security soft vendors respond to volume requests from users.

Bitdefender did it - first - to promote their paid products - and - second - as a gesture of goodwill to the user community.

# 2 is far behind # 1. :D

Kaspersky already has free antivirus - but only in Russian. Good to learn to read Russian - just in case they invade.

Not sure, if or when Kaspersky will release version in any language other than Russian.

Norton - just tools\utilities - like Power Eraser, but no free AV.
