But then u r not addressing the individual who made the post.

I used to have a boss, he was the kind of boss who, didn't just want to say "Go clean the warehouse floor". He would come watch you, and give you instructions on how to hold the broom and mop.

disabling web injection does not affect malicious site blocking. I always disable that which makes the web protection much better fewer bugs and better web surfing. if you see the help document for web injection, the protection modules don't use it, other non-important ones use it.

really sorry Shadowra for hijacking this thread and talking only about K 🙏
How strange..., I tried phishing URL's obtained from openphish, I checked if there was Kaspersky detection in virustotal before opening the malicious link, when I verified that it was in the detection I tried opening it and indeed Kaspersky blocked the malicious link, then I did the same test disabling web injection and surprise, the same link was no longer blocked, I re-enabled web injection and Kaspersky blocked the malicious link, So what was I wrong about? because before stating something I first do my tests.

@Shadowra I appreciate your efforts and your detailed review.

In the summary you ranked the AVs compared to each other, but can you please rate every AV from 5 depending on itself as a product?

I'm already doing that, aren't I? :D (in spoilers)
( Unless I didn't understand your request )

You ranked them 1st, 2nd, etc.

I'm asking to give every product a rate from 5, so for example MS Defender is ranked 1, but it may rate 3/5 for some missing features, on the other hand it may get 5/5 and Avast, Avira too, so me as a user if I don't like the ranked 1 product can select the second or third one if they have the same rating.

Like the award levels in av-comparatives:

Here, although they ranked the products in the previous section, they gave stars on this section, so for me even if I don't like the best product (1st in ranks) I can use a product I like with 3 stars.

Sorry if this is too much, I just like your reviews and asks to know every detail I can get from your experience.

Wow, you do realize this is a "hobby" forum, and not a professional paid AV comparative forum :) I think Shadowra is doing a fantastic job on his own free (for free) time, than to add to a list he already fulfills from past helpful critiques. Not trying to throw you under the bus, but until you and I start doing these with all of the background time and work on these....

Cheers :)

I'm not comparing, I'm just giving example to explain my point of view, think about it as the top-rated or recommended products from the list in general. The job done is fantastic as always, I'm just trying to add some points to improve, not for criticism :).

Maybe your over thinking this, the top rated product would be the one that finishes first in the test wouldn't it? The 2nd place finisher would be the next rated or recommended product, etc. I really don't think that a 4th or 5th finisher in the test would have more stars then the 1st or 2nd place finisher. Basically all the products are so close to each other that the primary reason anyone chooses one may be how well they work on your computer and not protection levels.

So can I consider all products recommended? Here are snippets from previous tests of Shadowra:
Recommand : No
Avast is an antivirus recommended for cautious surfers.
It is recommendable.
This is what I was relying on more when I was viewing the previous reviews, so for example: even if Avast comes second in this test, I don't know if it's recommended over Avira in general by Shadowra.

Again, I'm not complaining, thanks @Shadowra for your efforts, you are the best.
