Best practice is to close and open browser and then open bank or webshop. You know for certain nothing in other tabs could interfere. That said, the vertcal (between tabs) seperation is weaker, it is NOT absent or completely gone.So if i am browsing online banking, what is the best practices for Web security for Linux if there is not antivrus installad which has payment protection ??
I think Malwarebytes Browser Guard has skimming protection (you could add it and disable advertising protection). Thanks for raising the question, I will have a look at Malwarebytes Browser Guard myself.
