So if i am browsing online banking, what is the best practices for Web security for Linux if there is not antivrus installad which has payment protection ??
Best practice is to close and open browser and then open bank or webshop. You know for certain nothing in other tabs could interfere. That said, the vertcal (between tabs) seperation is weaker, it is NOT absent or completely gone.

I think Malwarebytes Browser Guard has skimming protection (you could add it and disable advertising protection). Thanks for raising the question, I will have a look at Malwarebytes Browser Guard myself.

Yes, thanks for the answer, because this is the most important for me. For example, on Windows, I have Bitdefender with Safe Pay, so I'm looking for a similar solution for Linux. Although the Risk is much lower than in the case of Windows OS, it is still there. i think Bitdefender has a version for Linux and still has one seat in my subscription. I will also check it

or private window?

It depends on what you want to achieve.
With private windows, you don't isolate websites, but with Containers, you do.
Using private windows just to avoid saving your browsing history isn't very effective.
It's better, especially in Chromium-based browsers, where even extensions, unlike in Firefox, ask for permission to read your browsing history (you can check this),to simply disable browsing history saving via policy.;)

Actually I enable McAfee web adivsor in private window to check if the banking website is known as fake before logging in.

If you bookmark your online banking website, it will never be a fake.;)
However, it could be clean today and compromised tomorrow by a malicious 3p-scripts/frame.
That’s the advantage of using Dynamic Filtering.

Allowing uBOL with McAfee web advisor in private window too.
Actually I have only those, no other extensions.

The same i am enabling Bitdefender Traffic light Extension beside Safe Pay feature
Trafficlight is doing good also; I have selected McAfee after testing with several other extensions including Trafficlight, Norton safe web, and Symantec browser protection against a freshly reported compromised bank website in Brazil.

Good to know, however, McAfee Web Protection is good, but I have had a problem with it for a long time, for resource consumption, as it has a process running in the background, but this was a long time ago, and I don't know if it is still the case or not

Agree; Norton safe web is even worse; Trafficlight followed by Symantec are the lightest.
