Hi,

I started my IT Carrier 10 year back after my School... After my School I got my first computer with OS as Windows 98 and 2000 and start study basics of computer, mainly MS DOS in Windows 95 & 98.... Then I start teaching basics for one year.... My first computer got infected when it was one week old from a infected Data CD... It was a dektop.ini, newfolder.exe infection. This infection crash my computer... She was only one week old at that time.. :( At that point onwards I started to learn how to remove virus manually, how to fix the virus problems etc.

After 1 year teaching, I join college, Engineering in Information Technology. This one was a turning point. My Engineering study provided me lots of information about new problems in OS, Virus infections etc... During this time I started using Windows XP. After installing XP only I started learn about OS related problmes. (Not in wide)

After completing my Engineering Degree I got an opportunity to join in a Virus Removal team of a Antivirus company. I am happy that after completing my College I am able to find a Job in the same field. My Professional carrier provided me lots of information's about how to remove infections manually and using tools, how to fix the Windows problems, how to troubleshoot windows problems etc...

during this 4 year of professional life I handled around 5000 cases. In that 5000 cases I am able to resolve 94% cases... :yahoo: He he he you are thinking about the rest of the 6% right? RIP  (PC Crash)

During this time I completed my
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Certification in the year of 2011.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification in the year of 2011.
  • Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) in the year of 2012.
  • Now planing to do Master in Computer Application (MCA) just for horror. :D :D :D

During this time I found malwaretips.com while I searching about some infections. Thank's to Jack and other staff members of malwaretips.com for this great website and providing me an opportunity.

I am so happy that I am able to part of malwaretips.com

Nice one Brah XDD Anyways, can i ask why don't u try for CCNP ?

. Why are you interested in IT/Technology/Malware/Software?

. What's your career job? If related to IT or any of the above, how did you get started?

. If a student, do you plan to work in the above-related fields in the future?

Just getting some insight about the IT Field from any who are part of it. :)

I was interested Computers ever since i was a kid. I was just fascinated by the whole PC rage in the 1980's but was influence by my father and my cousins who at the time was working for I.B.M. and since my school had a computer lab I was always in there playing with different programs trying to learn DOS, But I took it to another level I wanted to work on computers so bad that i begged my Father to hire me at his computer shop in 1996. Now I own my own computer repair shop it just based off my Father's repair shop and now I'm working on PC's on a everyday basis and I'm loving it

I have always love computers and dinosaurs.
Computers was more of a realistic and reachable ambition.

I have just left school and then got a job as a computer network engineer. I'm by far the youngest in my office with the next youngest double my age.

OK I will play. My first experience with a computer was a Commodore 64. Love at first site. LOL I was working in a real estate office then as a favor for a friend about 1989. I remember the owner telling me about the internet and how people could talk to each other over this internet. I was in awe. Of course he did not have the internet so it was several years later before my big discovery in 1999. Actually three days before y2k my first computer arrived in my home. I do not even remember what it was other than it WAS bad win 95. I do remember is was a 2GB hard drive. I had dial up.......... I had nothing but trouble with it. I learned how to take direction from folks like you all here for the help I needed to keep it running. I did enjoy learning and tinkering with it. So this was many computers ago. All used. Mine now is the first and only new one I ever bought.

Later, moving into smaller and smaller houses I decided to go laptops and wireless. I have been a bookkeeper for 40 years but in down sizing my official home office went away.I resigned my clerk job a little over a year ago so now I just visit on the computer and get advice on care for my hubby and keep in touch with family and friends.

I do love technology. I have lots of fun gadgets kindle ,nook, recorder, cam, camera and some other things. I like to learn how to use them. I have trouble remembering so each time I drag some thing out is it new all over again.

Pt 1. I am an Information Technology specialist; security practitioner; internetworking and security researcher and multi-skilled technician with interests and/or specialization in the areas of computer systems, network and wireless security, technical(physical) security, server implementation, penetration testing, telecommunications, virtualization, electrical and electronic, and more recently web application security.

Additionally, I have an interest in SCADA, aviation security, malware analysis, information warfare, information infrastructure, computer forensics, maintenance and repair, and physics.

IT networking and security is a specialist medium in which I generalize.

Pt 2. I am the type of person who wants to know everything about everything I want to be good in more than one field. I want to do what Leonardo Da Vinci and other great people in history did, be great in many fields! (Jack of all Trades, Master of many!) My strength lies in multidisciplinary work.

Pt 3. My background in IT has always required a very diverse and flexible set of skills. From routing and switching, server implementation and programming, to planning network infrastructure, understanding aircraft data network, physical and software detection systems, and consulting for many enterprises.

Though I have lost experience in other areas such as electrical and electronic. I should have stopped at networking, although of course things have changed a lot since then and I have now moved to network security.

Technology has always been a great fascination for me. I love all kinds of technology from computers to mobile devices to photography and everything in between, and IT's just a part of that. I'm currently taking a degree for Web Development here in the Philippines (Moved in since November) and I've been repairing PCs during my spare time. Been in this game since 2009.

I am a retired accountant. I am currently having a problem getting rid of a malware program called Snap.Do. It seems there is o way to get rid of it. I have read pages and pages of how to get rid of it, but the fact is NOTHING WORKS. If all else fails, I will buy a new hard drive.

Instead of buying a new HD you can just reformat the infected one.

Hello all, I saw my first digital computer back in the early 60's shortly after transistors became commercially available. It was a countdown device used in Polaris Missiles. After 7 years of this I started with IBM in 1969 fixing card punch machines. Over time PCs came into being, my first was a Timex Sinclair 16K, I still have it somewhere in storage. From there I went on to 086 PCs and servers and so on up the line. I retired after 30yrs of IBM. Now I teach computers to seniors at our local senior center and fix PCs for students and friends, mostly as a hobby. I take great pleasure in removing malware from PCs. I am hoping that I can contribute to MT and gain more knowledge about this scourge of the PC world.

Hello all, I use computers, love them. I have several years of all types of jobs, programming and am more than a user, dangerously open to learning. Use Microsoft products (can't afford MAC) and love lynx software. Started my programming with the ti programing hand held calculator and fell in love with the commodore 64...

I get so mad with being highjacked with ad-aware and popups taking over my Firefox browsers. Usually I am free of this, but this site got rid of the Media 1.1 malware...

I do not get involved with blogs, facebook, twitter (all seem to shorten MY TIME available to enjoy this great good Earth experience...

Just a word to any just getting started in the field (especially in the USA). Lead a TOTALLY BLAMELESS life as you may find yourself at a company with government contracts (or working for the government itself) that will require you to be vetted for clearance. Getting one will also really open up job prospects, as many startups can't find enough of these individuals to fill available positions.

And it's getting harder. My initial vetting 5 years ago was wrapped up in about 4 months. This time I was told that for the renewal the SSBI will last for a bit over a year. I already have a red, white, and blue outfit picked out for the oral.
