I have been on jobs like chef, caretaker / engineering , ive finished schools for both of them.
I have been lately on sick leave due depression and other mental problems, stress reactions during hurry jobs and stuff that i dont hope to anyone ( OCD is an hell)

My daily routine is like:
wake up
Lurk on MalwareTips / other forums / play games ; tldr; multitasking
go for a walk or something
sleep

Things are getting better day by day, but im jelly to people that have no mental illness and they can work normally
An Italian song says that life is like a movie, all a surprise, you are actor, spectator, between joy and pain,
between the dark and the color.
I wish you the best buddy.

Well I empathize with you brother. All of us have challenges of different sorts at different phases of life. I know some of these things are not easy.

I dealt with a little PTSD and complicating factors for awhile.

For many, structure helps. A lot.

Power through what you can, adapt and adjust to what you can't -- and live life to the fullest extent possible for your given state and given time.

Agree with you, thanks

I was working and had that PTSD, and after i got to home and stayed here enough long the OCD just getting worse and worse. Meds aint helping at all, its the social life and daily routines wich keeps you going and make OCD to go away, im pretty thankfully i live in country where i can get help whenever i want and get people to talk with. I cant jump straight to work right now, so im kinda re-learning living now and trying to go shop, jogging, walk and do any daily things and have good sleeping schedule wich helps alot

Thanks for your kind words

Super OCD is an hell too. For time being, I'm doing computer repairs until I find a job. Too much to study about programing, new concepts and most of the time I lurk around multiple forums learning about Computer related stuffs be it, firmware mods or microcode updates etc...

Lifting weights and cardio (check 'INSANITY MAX: 30 ') changed my life. I would suggest you the same.
Also work on healty diet. You won't believe how much food and workout help.
Sometimes i work 15 hours/day and still lift for 45-60 min, otherwise i would go probably mentaly insane

I want you to find a dream and then see it fulfilled

I'm going to DO IT Señor Normal!

That is just the motivation talk I needed. I'm going to start that business I've been thinking about. I'm going to run that marathon.

It's going to be great!!

Oh... but hold on.... you were not talking to me.

You were talking to the Crusher.

That's ok. I guess.

I'm just going to get my beer and go back to the couch then.

That other stuff would have required a lot of work that would have cut into my beer and couch time anyway..

Is your couch two-seater?
I brought the beers. We could talk about perseverance and apathy in looooooong hours.
Maybe my dream is to find a friend with a couch and beers. ;)

Hello. My name is Dmitry and I live in Russia. I am not an IT specialist or programmer, just a PC user who is interested in PC security. It all started with the fact that 9 years ago I had a PC infection with some kind of virus (I don’t remember exactly the name), as a result of which all program files, documents and the system as a whole were corrupted. After that, I decided to more thoroughly study the issue of ensuring the safe operation of a PC, read books, and once I went to one of the forums in RuNet, which is dedicated to this topic. I have been on this forum for 5 years, and only recently, in a post from one of the users on the forum in runet, I read the name of this forum here and decided to watch and read what is being discussed here.

Hi all. I'm an International Politics Major who found himself working with tech companies. I'm not a fully IT guy, but I work closely with dev teams. I have a small local newsletter that I'm trying to grow while maintaining my day job. Just looking for a community to learn a bit more. Gaming got me into PC, as if my avatar and nickname doesn't give it away...
