Advice Request How do AV react to password protected Files?

In the case of Bitdefender, when you try to scan a password-protected archive, it will ask you to enter the password and then it will scan it. Eset, as far as I remember, does skip password-protected archives (correct me if I am wrong). Anyway, password-protected archives are not a security risk, and when you decompress them, they will be scanned automatically by your security solution either on access or on execution depending on your settings.
