I have disabled some part of them, because with 8 GB RAM it's just.
Just for fun, disable all your extensions. Your browser should open in the blink of an eye. Then try to enable your most important ones. With 6 -8 extensions, my browser is still very quick. More than 6-8, it gets sluggish. I like a good balance between privacy-security and performance.

Firefox is sole browser here. Five total, 3 in active use. Browser is also in a security-hardened sandbox.

Trace (yes, I know, poss. abandonware but several functions still work fine), Skip Redirect and, um, one more...let me think, snap snap...oh yeah. uBlock Origin.

Bypass Paywalls Clean and a webP conversion ext. are only active as-needed, which is extremely rarely.

Only using Edge with 3 or 4 extensions:
uBlock Origin
Bitwarden
Microsoft-editor (when will they integrate this in Edge stable?)

Depending on the AV I use their extension as well, now:
F-Secure Browsing Protection (for HTTPS support without a root certificate (y))
