Troubleshoot How to remove these Xbox services on Windows 10 v1803?

I ran " Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxApp | Remove-AppxPackage " in Powershell admin and nothing happened. How do you remove these Xbox services on Windows 10 v1803? I can't disable " Xbox Game Monitoring " service because it said access is denied. These Xbox services still have the executable file.

@SumTingWong if you are ok with 3rd party tools, you may try W10privacy. Btw that one is little aggressive.


if you are trying to disable xbgm, then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\xbgm & change d start reg word value to 4. Lets see whether that works or not...

Regarding to the Xbox services in Services, I can only disable it and can't remove it?

Correct, they can't be removed. As far as I can tell, the only way to disable the services is through registries.
Open regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Services
Click xbgm > Right-click "Start" on the right panel > Modify
Change the value from 3 to 4.
Do the same for the rest of the services starting with Xbl and xbox.
