i buy pre-built PC's. i have a DELL Inspiron, which was the most up to date i5 cpu at the time. it has a core i5 cpu, 9th generation, 12 GB of ram, intel 630 graphics' card, 126 GB SSD, 1 TB HDD.

my PC does that with all browsers. i use a 43" smart tv as my monitor.

what should i buy more power on the part's on the next PC that i buy?

🙂 thanks in advance.

It seems your current PC specs are quite decent. However, if you're looking to upgrade, consider a more powerful CPU like an i7 or i9, more RAM (16GB or more), and a dedicated graphics card. Also, a larger SSD could improve performance. Lastly, ensure your internet connection speed is adequate.

You could try Firefox and set its cache to RAM, see if that helps. As in... write: about:config in address bar - copy paste the following:

browser.cache.disk.enable

- set above to False

browser.cache.disk_cache_ssl

- set above to False

browser.cache.memory.enable

- set above to True

And toggle both settings to false, like so:

To be sure it works, type in address bar the following:

about:cache

- and should look like this:

Storage disk location:none, only stored in memory

Didn't quite understand - if you're looking for a new PC or some components - for upgrade?

You are not providing enough information for anybody to figure out what the problem is.

What do you mean by "buffering"? What exactly are you trying to do - which websites are you visiting - that are causing "buffering"?

Do you mean content streaming "buffering"?

Please provide full details of what you are describing.

i try to get a website on a fifth tab and i get an arrow circling around. it either does not get the website or it takes a long time.

Run an internet speed test from the below link, with only one tab open and then repeat it with multiple tabs open and see if the results vary significantly.
the results are about the same.

1 tab:

Result ID 17471499925
Download Mbps 44.99
Upload Mbps 17.58
Ping ms 20 200 151
Connections Multi
CenturyLink
Spectrum
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8 tab's open:

Download Mbps 44.28
Upload Mbps 16.29
Ping ms 16 221 60
Connections Multi
Spectrum
50.89.211.196

no scanning.

0% disk utilization.

i tried using multiple browsers.

That's odd. As @oldschool hinted at, try disabling your extensions and retrying. Do you still have the same issue in that case. A little unrelated, but you might want to try running as few extensions as you can. It's shrink your attack surface. And it's best for older systems.

the speed test is a little slower.

Result ID 17473203227
Download Mbps 44.83
Upload Mbps 12.15
Ping ms 23 238 43
Connections Multi
Smart City Telecom
Spectrum

maybe it only happens sometimes. it is not happening now.
