I cannot run HitmanPro for some time, I don't know why :(

I run it. (as admin)
The process starts and then kills itself in a second.

OS fresh installed, all HDD scanned by Malwarebytes, ESET and Kaspersky Rescue Disk. Nothing found.
This started happening a couple of months ago when I moved from Windows 7 to Windows 8 and then to Windows 8.1. HitmanPro cannot run on Windows 8 and 8.1...

Does anyone have a clue what's going on?
Thanks in advance!

exactly its a probable software conflict, safe mode was aimed to confirm that :p

I had windows 8 and ESET nod32 running HitmanPro without any problem

When upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 8 then Windows 8.1, Did you fresh install each one to a formatted HDD (OS installed from a disc) or did you just use the upgrade interface built into Windows itself? Because if so I have heard from numerous people about random issues it can cause by using the upgrade interface rather than a true fresh install.

I downloaded the latest Hitman Pro and all is working fine here.

Go to "Control Panel\System and Security\Action Center\Reliability Monitor" in Windows and check the Critical event for Hitman Pro.

What information does it show relating to the crash? If it's anything important it should be shared with SurfRight in case it's an issue with Hitman Pro and rather not a user error / something to do with your OS.

I know :p
Tried with Safe Mode (Networking) and (Minimal) and then I got the error message.
In "normal" mode, nothing happens when I double click it.

Try this,

Go to advanced system settings
under performance, click settings
click the Data Execution Prevention tab, and then click Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.
click Add, browse to the executable file for the program and add it.

I know this is kinda silly to ask but are you sure you are running the 64 bit version of hitmanpro which is 9.4 mb ?
