The "Computer" taskbar's context menu is missing the "Delete Taskbar" entry.
Ok, got it; you cannot delete the default taskbar with controls.

How can I add a link to the on-screen keyboard? I created a link to the file location (C:\Windows\system32\osk.exe), but it doesn't open.

Is website link creation via drag and drop not available?

Interface customization settings would be helpful for TB+'s appearance or personalization.

That is funny that you mentioned that. I have been coughing and sneezing really bad for over a month, constantly. But it was not bad enough to go to the doctor.
If you wait too long, can be much harder to fix. please see your local friendly competent family MD, we reply on you! ;)

In the latest version, you can actually delete the top / default taskbar with controls, then the next one down will take over as default. The only limitation now is that the user cannot delete the last taskbar ;).

The osk.exe and website links should be working now, thank you for finding these issues. If there are other web extensions besides .url and .html, please let me know and I will make sure those are working as well.

I am not sure what you mean by "Interface customization settings would be helpful for TB+'s appearance or personalization." Please let me know, thank you!

Yeah, that was the thing was that they did not discover TB in my area until I had already been coughing and sneezing for 3-4 weeks. I am essentially 100% now... but if I would have known at the time, I certainly would have went to the doc. It is kinda like when I take my dog to the vet... I don't want to take her for every little bump and bruise, but I also want to make sure she goes when she needs to... a lot of times it is a tough call.

You cannot create a link for websites by dragging and dropping.

TB+ should have an "all taskbars" color option.

TB+ expands on clicking a taskbar. It should similarly collapse only on clicking a taskbar; you can access multiple links and collapse TB+ after using it.

The website links are working for .url and .html files... you must be using a file with a different extension. If so, what is the extension? If it is a .url or .html file, how did you create the shortcut? That way I can reproduce the error.

Yes, we will add Color All to the Taskbars menu soon.

Yes, but we will want to make this optional, mainly because I have noticed that it is pretty uncommon for me to use TB+ for several things at once... but it would be super convenient for it to be able to handle more than on action without minimizing when we need it to. Otherwise, if most users mainly use TB+ for single actions, then we want to keep it the way it is, that way we can optimize the number of clicks. In other words... yes, lets figure out how to optimize the number of clicks the best we can ;). Thank you!

Can't you simply drag and drop the link from the browser address bar?

Yes, optional is fine.

I simply meant that essential functions should be in the right-click menu, while appearance customizations could be in settings.

Hey Guys!

Here is TB+ 0.53, it should be pretty much bug free and at this point we can start deciding what new features to add over the next few months. We don't want to add tons of useless features that no one will use, but we do want to add cool, unique features that useful.

In the 0.53 version, I replaced the Color All with a prompt and applied it to both the taskbar and taskbar label color... that was we do not need to always have a Color All right click context menu item that most users will never use, and if they do use, only use once or twice.

I also optimized the left click on taskbars for both pinned and not-pinned status. The current implementation makes perfect sense to me, and we were able to implement this without adding an extra option, so I think we are good to go, but if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

And as usual, there were several minor fixes and optimizations.

Hi Dan,

Excellent program and running pretty much bug free on my pc. My question\request is I use an app called Auto Dark Mode and when it's on the dark theme, all is good with the icons but when it's on the light mode, it's hard to see the white icon on a white background. Any chance you can make it so that when it's in dark mode it puts the white icon and when light mode, have a dark icon? I don't know if anyone else has this issue.

Thank you, I appreciate that! Yeah, I know exactly what you are talking about. What is odd is that I got it so the taskbar icon would change color when the computer settings were changed from and to light / dark mode, but when the icon was pinned to the taskbar, it would always turn back to white. So maybe the answer is to just have two different versions of TaskbarPlus... one for light mode and one for dark. Either way, I will play around with this some more in the next few days and figure something out, thanks again!

Here is a version with only the dark icon, please let me know if it works for you. If it does, I will see if we can fix this so we can only have one version of TB+, otherwise, we will just have to have a light and dark version. We might have to have 2 versions either way, simply because we can't change the icon of the executable on the fly, and I imagine a lot of people will have the portable app on their desktop. Thank you!

Ok, this for me is much better. The dark icon on white mode is perfect, and the dark icon on dark mode is much better visually than the white icon on white mode. Personally, I would prefer that it stay like this, unless it can fully switch between white and dark icons when the system switches.

Thank you for the quick response.

After playing with this a bit, I think what is happening is that when the TB+ app icon is pinned to the Windows Taskbar, the icon automatically changes to the actual icon of the TB+ app.

So that being the case, we can either have different apps / binaries for different colors (which is not ideal at all), or we can have a single app with one color that is a medium grey.

Here is a version of TB+ where the icon color is the midpoint color between the light and dark icons. Please let me know if you guys think this will work well for everyone, have a great weekend, thank you!

Hi Dan,

This is perfect, in my opinion. I have downloaded and applied the dark and white themes and the TaskbarPlus is clearly visible in both modes.

I actually bought a couple of OneNote templates and the fonts when changing the theme mode was great with white and not with dark. I could not modify the template but I changed the font to use a medium grey and it works very well with whatever color mode the system is at.

Thank you for this, I hope others like it as well.
