I really like the UI, get's better each year. Whether these tests e.g., AV-Tests are correct I still believe Kaspersky is the best.

They changed the UI again in the latest TP:

Looks nice, but why did they need to change their icon, it doesnt even look like Kaspersky anymore:

People on their forum are already complaining about this.

Apart from this no big changes as far as i could see.

NOTE: Windows 10 is officially NOT supported.

I agree, the icon just changed the whole concept.
The previous logo was MUCH MUCH better.

Although, I think they will bring the old one back, they're getting hate due to this change.

Yeah i completely agree. The old icon was a lot better. Gave the entire suite a more solid feel too it. However, i doubt that they'll bring the old icon back. That's the one complain that users such as myself had with both ESET and Norton however no matter how much we complained they did not bring their old icons back. And that is why i believe that the chances of Kaspersky bringing their old icon back is slim.

Quite unstable this new beta build :)

Yes, It seem many users didn't like much the new one, and some KL developers said that it was just "an experiment"...

Salutations,

Can you use with other security software with out headaches? For example, sandboxie?
Do you know the ram usage and there any slow down with the PC?

Kind regards,

Until KIS2015MR2 15.0.2.361a (Patch b coming soon) I have being using SandBoxie in W8.1 Pro x64 with no problems in general... but, with actual beta KIS2016MR0 (not final, beta stage) there are some compatibility issues that KL will have to iron/fix, in fact I have reported Them and hope They will solve in the end...

New build 16.0.0.560 is available for testing.

FTP - 16.0.0.560

Please keep in mind that since 16.0.0.424+ "System Changes Control Settings" became operational functionality

Example1:
- Install Skype
- During the installation of Skype's plugin «Skype Click to Call» is added to browser
- Kaspersky alert about unauthorized (plugin installation) changes of browser settings should be shown про, because changes are made by the third party (Skype installer) but not browser itself
In any case (no matter what choice was made in alert) the installation of Skype should be successful

Example 2:
- Install any new browser (f.e. Firefox )
- At the first run set the browser as default
- Alert is not shown, because changes of settings were made from browser itself

Recommendations for testing:
1. Set the checkbox "automatically block all"
2. Reported that the installed software included with this daw not validly works. (ie the installer can work normally, and the software then will not work).

Example:
1. Set the flash player
2. Enter the browser to a site where the video is played using the flash.
3. Video is not working

Please fulfill the following conditions:
1) Before you begin beta testing, please read instructions.
2) Do not flood the beta testing topic thread. For this, you can be admonished.
3) In your bug report, please post detailed steps to reproduce the bug.

Please post all your questions here.

All off-topic contents will be deleted.

ATTENTION! Windows 10 is still not supported in this version
