I am using the default Windows Defender installed during Windows 11 setup and added Kaspersky as the main one. The combination is working fine.

When you install 3rd party AV, you can only enable on-demand scan of WD; nothing else is active, except reputation-based protection (smartscreen).

I do a small test (pre-execution one) everyday; K tops the list all the time; I trust K even if it has some bad days.

Kaspersky is a very solid security solution that is always up to date with the latest threats and will protect you.
One thing I really liked: it now indicates which module is reacting (Cloud, database, human analysis, etc.) and uses its defensive modules very correctly.
Of course, Kaspersky is still one of the best and can be recommended.
