App Review Kaspersky Premium vs McAfee Advanced

It is advised to take all reviews with a grain of salt. In extreme cases some reviews use dramatization for entertainment purposes.

There's Zemana, but I have no idea if it's still being maintained :/
Zeamana's MalwareFox discounted and MalwareFox switch to TotalAV. Also Zemana is outdated and even work on Windows XP with one core api.

Now in my case, if McAfee could get their glitchy UI figured out, again, in my case, I'll consider it again. BUT, what was not a part of the test and rightly so, is that with my McAfee license, I still have access to the portal to view and use the Identity Monitoring.

Also, that McAfee did such a good job with limited amount of modules and settings, On/Off (I know they're tested in their defaults) compared to Kaspersky.

Just in case this helps anyone who views this excellent work done by @Shadowra. I was able to figure out a glitch that I previously had. Even though McAfee Identity Monitoring was showing as active and set up in that app module and the web portal, it wasn't showing it as set up on the main UI. I thought to enter a user name in the Account information besides my email address, entered it in, restarted the app and it is now showing as On in the main app UI, both areas :) It will be nice to get dark mode back on my end, but that isn't a deal breaker, as how often do I really need to open it?

Again, for anyone this may help, if I set Brave as my default browser, there will be a blue "i" on the system tray icon. I set my default to Chrome in the Widows default app settings and that resolves it. Brave doesn't ask every time to set it as the default, so that seems to work. The default browsers for McAfee are Chrome, FF and Edge. And since Brave is Chromium based, McAfee does scan those webpages, it just won't show the link ratings in a Brave search, but will for a Google search in Brave.

good old zemana we had such good projects abandon that could have had a future....
Nobody wanted to pay for it. If people don't pay, then eventually the project or software ends up in the trash bin. This is a recurring theme over the years.

Way too many freeloaders that just don't want to pay for software. The end results are predictable.
