Hello and welcome to the test of the free version of Kaspersky!

Kaspersky is a Russian editor, very well known by the general public.
To compete with the giant Microsoft with Microsoft Defender, Kaspersky first published Kaspersky Free, but replaced it with Security Cloud, relying on its KSN.

The protection is very good! Kaspersky has also improved on phishing!
Proactive protection has also improved. There are still weaknesses on adware, but this is common to all antivirus.

In terms of consumption, Kaspersky is on the right track, but another effort is not unwanted.

Kaspersky did quite well, I was wondering in you're own opinion what AV vendor would you say is the best protection wise saying most are probably roughly the same level probably better asking what AV you prefer the most.

They are about the same level.
Personally I use F-secure, I like the Avira base very much and it is very light

I would guess a large number of the leftover are a mix of broken exes and PUP and non malicious files so 65% is possibly a good result.

others av tested detected and remove more malware
