Yesterday I downloaded Kaspersky security cloud personal and I was impressed as being lighter than Kaspersky Internet Security.

I use the free version (KSC free). Paired with VS/OSA it is good enough for me - very light, no conflicts.
I requested that feature to them and they said that they have a plan adding it next year
I am on KSC free, and I do find that it is lighter than KIS. I am very happy with KSC free.
If you will be using any advanced security apps alongside it, then the free edition is more than enough. In such a case, you don't need Application Control.

I wonder if it and DeepArmor would play nice together ? Also does KSC free have any browsing protection ?
DA + KSC? I don't know.
As for browsing protection, the Kaspersky browser extension does almost nothing, in the free edition.

"Kaspersky Protection" extension in KFA/KSC Free does not have the extra features -> Anti-Banner, Privacy Browsing... but still keeps the connection/injection between the product and the browsers to check malicious URLs, etc.
Question: Has anyone here from the US downloaded the EU version of Kaspersky? I'm tempted because of GDPR but I'm worried if I'm getting sent to EU servers slowing me down.

Hum I don't think so, byt try... with GDPR versions You have an extra feature to disable telemetry without disabling KSN, so this version should be valid for any user around the world 
OMG! You are right. I had different prompts and an option to opt out of telemetry which I did. Yes, the Eu version is GDPR compliant.

In KSC Free and specially in paid, there some extra features not in KIS/KTS, but all main protection modules/features are shared to all of them...

Not only... (extra Password Security feature, WiFi Inspector, a different Vulnerability Scan Module, etc...)
