Also , according my experience Kaspersky installers are mostly handling an on top installation on previous versions without any issue.

I have a question: Where can I download the latest kavremovert to remove MR23 and the latest MR24 products from my home computer? The kavremovert I downloaded from the Kaspersky website only deletes up to MR20.

Thanks for that @harlan4096, I was a bit behind I assumed it would update the version as it has in the past, anyway downloaded & it updated OK but it wasn't quite right with 2 uninstallers etc, so I simply uninstalled K fully & did a clean install & its perfect now, & fully imaged, so it does no harm for a clean install occasionality, only too 15 mins all in, very pleased!

Yes, if You wait, You will get the auto-update to the new version eventually, but that may take some time, since it is delivered progressively....

Had an issue with Outlook (The classic outlook, not the new one) - Went to send an email and crashed when I hit send.

Outlook restarted and basically said the Kaspersky Add in caused the crash, so it automatically disabled it. Email then sent fine.

Will take a look at re-enabling it and see if it crashes again, Might have been a one off?

Today I also got the update via the app itself. And also the my.kaspersky.com Portal now has the new installer for Kaspersky Free for me. Version 21.23.7.xxx was missing there so I only got 21.22.6.xxx. So I am happy that they also updated the installer in the portal for Kaspersky Free for me.

What does the AI tag on a feature mean?

The AI tag indicates that this feature uses machine‑learning (ML) methods and intelligent data analysis. These technologies improve threat‑detection quality, enable more accurate recognition of new/unknown malicious objects, and reduce false positives.

Classification and detection technologies for malicious activity (e.g., based on object attributes and/or behavioral signals) operate as part of the standard protection mechanisms and complement other methods (signatures, heuristics, rules, reputation checks, etc.). Our AI‑powered features do not use your PC’s resources for external computations: the algorithms run only within the normal operation of the protection (scanning and monitoring).

Is this a new feature?

Intelligent‑analysis technologies have been used in cybersecurity for many years. We have now added an explicit AI label so that users can more easily see which components employ these methods. In other words, the approaches themselves are not new—the transparency of their labeling has changed.

Can it be turned off?

Well, I have a problem and I need some help. So, I open YouTube in the Edge browser. I start a foreign-language video and switch to Hungarian (my native language), but the Hungarian subtitles don't work when Kaspersky is running. I checked why, and if "Check Encrypted Connections" is turned on, it doesn't work. But only in Edge! It works in Chrome and Firefox, and in those cases I don’t have to turn off “Check Encrypted Connections.” So, why is this happening with the Edge browser? Also, if I turn off “Check Encrypted Connections,” is that a problem? And do I need this feature?

No, I don't use them. They're inactive! The browser plugin is installed. And if I go to the Network Settings menu and turn off "Do Not Inspect Encrypted Connections," the Hungarian subtitles work on YouTube.
So here's another question: Do I even need the browser extension?

Hum... disabling completely Scan of Encrypted Connections it is not advisable.... what about creating an exclusion of encrypted connections only for YouTube? -> Adding YT URL to Trusted Addresses, in Encrypted Connections Scan section?
