Peter, Are you using Windows 10 or 11 or still have Win 8 and 7 pc's you use occasionally? Mullvad is very good but doesn't work on Win 7 or 8 I found out. Don't know if that's a concern to you but it was for me.

I bought the Adguard VPN, it was a cheap deal through Stacksocial but a it's a terrible VPN. Slow speeds and has leaked my real IP multiple times. I don't trust it now. Their customer service is also very poor. Took them a couple weeks to get back to me and basically said nothing. I'm really disappointed in them. So stay away from that one.

If you just want the VPN for privacy you can try the free version of the Proton VPN. Frankly, for me, their free one is better than Adguard. And it has never leaked my real IP. Proton VPN is $4.99 a month as I recall. Their Plus version is 8 bucks a month. They have also done some upgrades recently. I use their free one for now and there are no daily restriction limits. Which is unusual for a free VPN. Cheap is great but you want a VPN you can trust. Best wishes.
