Make sure it was custom installation.

Umbra alerted me about default settings and its snapshots.

ah lucky i waiting the win8 version...

very easy to use, there the way i installed it:

IMPORTANT: remove Acronis or any imaging backup soft, they sre nit compatible together they will conflict and mess your MBR. use Acronis Boot CD instead.

1- reformat and reinstalled + update win7
2- install RX. it will create the baseline (a clean snapshot of your system)
3- install my security apps + do a snapshot (and lock it)
4- install the rest of my apps and do another snapshot.

then you can test any softwares and if not satisfied revert to the any snapshot done previously or the baseline.

tips: disable RX to do a snapshot at every boot

RE: madyrocksin's Configuration ESET + Comodo

During the trials, I was doing it manually as opposed to scheduled snapshots simply because not every game I downloaded and Installed was a keeper :)

Don't know however if RBRX is fully functional on SSD though.

i m not using Acronis F11 recovery mode so i think the mbr shouldn't be messed up or ???
snapshot i have set to manually
rest i m not gonna do a re-install just for rollback rx will it be a problem???

RE: madyrocksin's Configuration ESET + Comodo

the reformat is not necessary of course, but make sure your system is truly clean.

All imaging backup softs install drivers that may conflict with Rx during backup and especially restoration (BSODs, MBR corruption, etc...). it is highly recommended to remove them.

My XP drive is 20 Gb and 9 GB is free on that,
i m planning to use XP only on occasional basis,
is the free space enough ??

RE: madyrocksin's Configuration ESET + Comodo

i think i will have to get rid of dual boot,
RBR is using some of XP drive's free space as well for the snapshots on Windows 7
