It is more advisable to remove it completely as opposed to set exclusions and disable only. Reason being drivers and other components might conflict. If CAV was designed for companion AV then it would be different.

Removed : TrendMicro
Reason : Heavy for my system, BSOD.

Undoubtedly one of the best Web filter.

What is K9 like, and is it easy to use. It looks OK via website. But Just looking for users opinion

also I wonder if it conflicted with WinPatrol ? I guess not, but ?

also the inside interface looks similar to OPENDNS Web protection area

What is K9 like, and is it easy to use. It looks OK via website. But Just looking for users opinion

Its web protection as you can see, its something more that just blocking phishing, malware sites, like you can block lot to website categories, eg porn,hacking,social network, and many more.

I am using it for an extra layer, 0% impact on system.
I m not using Winpatrol so can't really say about this, but logically it shouldn't.

:) It's so far very good. It's very easy to use and handy to config.

Mind you I've just left it on Default settings at the moment! Is it worth going any higher or custom.

But I can only guess it's what the user wants, and for what they wish to block :)

Added : ESET Nod32 v6

ekrn.exe running at 30K+ while browsing on chrome with 10 tabs :P
Edit : HIPS Disabled

Added : Bitdefender AV
Good System response, no problems as of now !!

Reason : Neither impressed by the product(very buggy + unstable) nor with the support

Added : ESET nod32, Zemana Antilogger(not sure how good it is)
