A request of testing ManageEngine Malware Protection. It offers free tier, and now it's simple to register and use cloud-based version for agent deployment and management. I believe it's one of the free EDR platforms for individual user. I would like to see how it works. Many thanks.

I've been hearing a lot about this product.
I tried it about a year ago (not on camera); it was riddled with bugs, and I ended up wiping it with WannaCry.
Since it seems to have improved, I'll see if I can test it sometime in May ;)

and K7 Ultimate Security w/MAT is on sale right now 2 years 14.99 70% off... I do not see this tied to a subscription
I'd better look for the Infiniti Edition if still available?
5 devices, lifetime, 40$

Okay, seems i bought it on sale / asked staff for a quote, now it is 70$ again.

I could be mistaken, but it is not a sure bet, that the infinity edition is the latest edition nor is it the "MAT" edition. Thus, it is not the same as K7 Ultimate Edition.

oh oh life time licenses for K7, is that a good deal with a bad sign?
They had it in the past, too - Gold Edition.

To my experience, K7 is pretty solid with settings maxed out, however not as close to BD, K, McAffee etc.
You're more likely to have a clean system with them (however, I doubt it will make a noticeable difference apart from throwing tons of malware on it, having a multilayered security - VPN at best, latest browser and OS, Adguard or uBlock, Bitdefender Trafficlight or anything else maybe shipped with your preferred AV, not opening suspicious attachments, setting Edge to block non-trusted downloads on arrival - can still open them,...)
Especially it is weak against scripts (both signature wise and behaviour blocking, last has been improved constantly), and the built-in Firewall cannot be set to ask first (renders it useless). You need to manually block apps, it will allow most of them regardless of setting.
Combine it with Evorim Free Firewall, and you're good to go.
