This test did show it is very hard to get threats past at a browser level as browser guard is super aggressive. It also appears browser guard can monitor websites you visit for suspicious activity which was released a few weeks ago.

Malwarebytes is a mediocre anti-malware, period. It's basically a "WebApp" with an over-the-top web shield, not a local program.

@Shadowra's tests have once again proven... Malwarebytes means "Mediocrebytes" with its lackluster performance and passive heredity... Born without the protector genes, it's doomed to a mediocre existence!

I'm probably a bit harsh about Malwarebytes, maybe because they annoyed me in the past with version three & mess they made & the developers at one point didn't seem to be able to fix it - I do feel it has the best looking GUI of any AV & has a lot going for it - When it is actually recognized as a full AV that does not really need additions running in real time with it - I may well be wrong with these comments?
