I was trying to download Malwarebytes and I have got the following message:



After restricting almost every security extension available in Google Chrome store, now we can't install security software too?

Agree, as you could also use NPE for a 2nd opinion scan instead.

The last time I used MB was when it just released the beta 5 version, and I was not satisfied by performance, nor the protection.

I usually use KVRT, but I just want to make a scan with Malwarebytes because I didn't use it for a long time.

If you try to download with Goodbyedpi or VPN, it may give such an error.

kvrt and npe usually remove majority of malware on the system and kinda quick after that you can probably use something like FRST to find and then remove whatever is left

MB I used to use in highschool at Version 1. It was good for fake AVs and adware. Other then that, would never run it. So many better solutions on the market. That's me being nice. I did love their Anti Exploit but that was Zero Day Labs tech that MB acquired.

I'm not sure even if it is downloaded in a way or another if it will continue to get updated signatures, anyway there are too many better services now.

I am not using VPN and it shows the same message; it is a regional restriction.
